A five day online training on "Organic Vegetable Production" was conducted for the farmers, professionals, youth, home makers and entrepreneurs, in two batches, from 21-25 June and 5-9 July, 2021. The training was inaugurated by the Director of Extension, Dr. Jiju P Alex. The expert scientists from KAU dealt with the following topics with regard to organic vegetable production: High Yielding Varieties and planting materials,organic methods that can be followed, biological pest and disease control, and rain shelter/terrace/grow bag cultivation. A total of around 420 people attended this free online training and cleared their doubts.
