The Induction Training Programme for Newly Recruited Farm Assistants of Kerala Agricultural University is being conducted from 23rd to 25th April 2026 at Karshakabhavanam, Vellanikkara.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. B. Ashok, IAS, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, KAU. Dr. Binoo P. Bonny, Director of Extension, KAU, delivered the welcome address. Dr. A. Sakeer Husain, Registrar of the University, was also present on the occasion, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Helen S., Professor and Head, CTI, KAU.
The first day included sessions on communication and interpersonal skills, digital tools for extension, teamwork, leadership, and interactive activities, setting a dynamic and engaging tone for the programme. The three-day training programme is designed to equip the newly recruited Farm Assistants with essential technical and managerial competencies. The programme is expected to enable them to make effective and meaningful contributions to the development and efficient management of KAU farms.
